When a job needs flashings, cappings, cills or cladding that actually fit, a stock trim rarely does. At SAMS Fabrications we press architectural sheet metal to your drawing or site sizes — any profile, any angle, up to 4 metres a length — and have done since 1988. Builders, roofers, cladding contractors and general fabricators use us as their sheet-metal shop for the pressed metalwork they don’t make in-house.

What we make
Materials & finishes
We press flashings, surrounds and panels in aluminium (1050A, 5251), stainless steel (304 & 316), Zintec, mild steel and pre-coated steel — including durable lead-free flashing alternatives. Parts can be powder coated to any RAL colour, galvanised, or supplied in a polished or brushed stainless finish.
We manage the whole finishing process, so what arrives is finished and ready to fit, not just folded.

Send a drawing, a cutting list or even a sketch with site sizes and we’ll turn it round quickly, finished and ready to fit. We’re happy with one-offs and with repeat production runs to a schedule — and because we’re Norwich-based you’re dealing with a local shop you can actually visit, not a faceless national. Trade and contract accounts are exactly the sort of work we’re after.

Yes — send a drawing, a sample or site measurements and we’ll press it to match, including curved work to a template.
What lengths can you do?
Up to 4 metres in a single fold; longer runs are supplied in neat, matched sections.
Can you powder coat to our colour?
Yes, to any RAL — and we manage the galvanising and coating as part of the job, so it arrives finished.
Do you do lead-free flashing alternatives?
Yes — aluminium, stainless or coated-steel flashings as a durable alternative to lead.
Will you work from our drawings and to our schedule?
