Welding

Your Number One Source for Welding Fabrication

Nothing beats the strength and durability of welding fabrication. Enjoy a higher standard of quality with the welding services offered by SAMS Fabrication. We have the power and ability to create products to meet any specification thanks to our extensive range of welding equipment. When you have a project that requires the highest precision and care, you can count on our team to provide reliable and consistent results every time.

Our Services Include

Spot Welding

This time tested welding process is perfect for joining metal sheets with speed and efficiency.

Stick Welding

This cost efficient process is a popular choice given the wide number of materials suitable for welding. Highly versatile and extremely fast, enjoy a durable weld that lasts.

CD Stud Welding

This efficient technique quickly attaches studs and fasteners to metal to allow for the strongest and most reliable joins that you can count on.

Metal Inert Gas Welding

The state of the art welding facility at SAMS Fabrications offers you the option of metal inert gas welding services for smoother, cleaner welds on any type of metal.

Tungsten Inert Gas Welding

When your highest priority is detail, nothing beats tungsten inert gas welding. Our skilled welders produce the cleanest, most beautiful joins easily.

Spot Welding

A resistance welding technique used to join overlapping metal sheets which can be up to 3mm thick. Two electrodes simultaneously clamp the metal sheets together and pass a current through the materials. This fuses them together.

CD Stud Welding

This is a Capacitor Discharge process. It is used to attach studs and fasteners to sheet metal components.

Frequently Asked Questions

What welding processes do you offer?
MIG and TIG for the majority of work, plus spot welding, stud (CD) welding, brazing, soldering and MMA (stick) welding — so we can join almost any combination of parts and materials under one roof.
Which metals can you weld?
Stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, copper and brass. TIG is used for fine, cosmetic and thin-material work — particularly stainless — while MIG suits heavier structural fabrication.
Can you weld thin stainless without distortion or discolouration?
Yes — TIG gives the control needed for thin-gauge stainless, and we clean the welds back afterwards (dressing, pickling or polishing) so the finished joint looks right, not just holds.
Do you finish and clean welds, or just weld?
We finish in-house — grinding and dressing welds, polishing to a mirror, satin or brushed finish, or bead blasting for an even matt texture, depending on how the part needs to look.
Can you weld up a full assembly from my drawing?
Yes. We fabricate and assemble complete units — frames, enclosures, guards, tanks, brackets and bespoke pieces — from your drawing, sketch or sample, cutting and folding the parts first so everything fits.
Do you do one-off repairs as well as production?
Both — from a single repair or prototype through to production batches of welded assemblies.
What information do you need to quote a welded job?
A drawing or sketch with sizes, the material and grade, the quantity, and how you’d like it finished. A photo or sample of an existing part is often enough to get started.
